“I find your online course very interesting! Many helpful pieces of information in a well-organized package! Your idea of making the bassoonlesson.com rocks! 🙂 Keep doing great work! ”
“There is no course in the world aimed exclusively at bassoonists that is as rich and complete as Bassoonlesson.
As both an interpreter and a pedagogue, Alexandre is a master. The student enjoys enormous knowledge, which Alexandre acquired over decades of study. It is a privilege to be part of this project.”
“Alexandre is a fantastic teacher and coach with a big heart. I first discovered him after listening to his CD Entre Mundos and I wanted to have more fun and learn about jazz and improvisation. Playing jazz helped me with classical playing. I really benefited from his weekly planner, tips on stretching, and self-care as I recovered from a shoulder injury. Despite the distance-Alexandre helped me find a new direction and focus in my playing. I recommend his course to anyone seeking new insights into bassoon playing, you are in good hands!”
“The Bassoon Lesson added even more to my knowledge of the Bassoon, it brought me new perspectives on how to work, and not just with the instrument, but a practical study routine very well prepared by the teacher with the indication of his teaching material. A course that gives you much more than what it proposes, of excellent level, in addition to the quality of the professional who accompanies you, as is the case of Professor Alexandre.”
“Bassoon Lesson is a great educational and musical experience. Explained in a simple language where language is not a problem, it covers the technical part necessary for the advancement and consolidation of the interpretation of the BASSOON. With clear and easy-to-understand examples. supported by reading material according to the theme. The part of jazz improvisation is very explicit and pedagogical, which invites you to continue and practice to become excellent improvisers. My experience with Alexandre Silverio’s Basson Lesson was really rewarding, educational, and fun.”
“I’m really enjoying the classes, in December I auditioned, and as I was on vacation, my study base was all with the online course… The fundamentals module was essential, I had to play a method and I chose Milde-1 that precisely there’s a class on how to do it well. I played with my own reed, which was all made as you teach and it worked very well! (It was from Bacarelli Institute, I was approved in the first phase, I’ll be back in February for the second)
Now I intend to delve deeper into jazz classes, at first I thought it would be difficult, but I have already seen the first classes, and I saw that step by step it is super possible to play jazz, not to mention that it improves musicality…”
“Bassoonlesson.com is sensational, through the site I learned to listen and play jazz in a much more refined and technical way. From playing walkin bass lines, or writing improv lines following the proper modes and scales, it’s all there and best of all: with the bassoon.
My reeds have also improved a lot following everything I learned on the site. All sensational for those who want to learn and improve more and more in the bassoon. I highly recommend it.”
