In this post, I discuss preparing for an upcoming tour with my orchestra OSESP to the International Music Festival in Bogotá, Colombia. As a bassoonist, I discuss the importance of having various reed options to account for the different climates and altitudes in Bogotá, which can affect the reed's stiffness and vibration. I share the different reeds I'm bringing, including older ones and new ones I'm currently adjusting, to ensure I'm well-prepared and can perform well during the tour.

Wow, thank you for letting me know that adjusting the reeds to different climate is challenging even for you.
I saw your video having many reeds and instruments for adjustments.
I know you are professional bassoonist but still I think you are so honest to play the music as best as you can.
Respectfully!
To me adjusting the reeds in the same place is sometimes difficult and becomes stunned when I cannot find the good reed for today.
